Justin Brown

Justin Brown (He/Him) is the Assistant Director for Oak Lane. His responsibilities include the coordination of all building and community aspects of the Oak Lane on-campus residential community, hire, train and supervise paraprofessional staff to create a safe and welcoming environment, and will serve as a chapter coach to a portfolio of chapters.
Justin is originally from Rantoul, Illinois, and graduated from Western Illinois University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. After graduation, he attended Grand Valley State University (GVSU) and received his Master of Education in Higher Education in 2023. While at GVSU Justin served as a Graduate Assistant for Fraternity and Sorority Life in the Office of Student Life. Most recently he served as a Program Coordinator for Sorority and Fraternity Life at Illinois State University. In this role, he served as the Panhellenic Advisor and oversaw the bi-annual community reports, hazing prevention initiatives, marketing and communication, and coached a portfolio of chapters.
Justin serves on the Individual and Chapter Conduct Committee and the Risk Management Committee for Pi Kappa Phi. When not working he enjoys traveling, spending time outside with his dog Frazier, spending time with family and friends, and fishkeeping.
