Zack Pfeifer

Blacksburg, VA 24061
Zack Pfeifer (he/him) will help lead the day-to-day operations and strategic planning efforts for the FSL office. He will focus on advancing Well-Being & Student Success across the fraternity and sorority community—specifically through the planning, facilitation, and evaluation of educational, leadership, and health and wellness programs. Supporting both student organizations and individual members in their growth and development will be a core aspect of his work.
Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Zack earned both his B.A. in English Literature and M.Ed. in Counseling and Personnel Services from the University of Louisville. He brings over a decade of experience in FSL, most recently as Associate Director of Chapter Services for Triangle Fraternity.
Zack has served at Marquette University, University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, and Wesleyan University, with a consistent focus on hazing prevention, trauma-informed practices, and inclusive leadership. He is the creator of the Comprehensive Hazing Response Model and the UnMascing program and is a trained facilitator for the DOJ's STARRSA program.
Outside of work, Zack enjoys reading, board games, and spending time with his service dog, Fleetwood. Fun fact: he was once an internationally ranked fencer and a semi-pro World of Warcraft player!
