Chapter Coaching

The Fraternity & Sorority Life staff utilize a chapter coaching model to allow our students to have an additional support system throughout the year. This provides students with a professional staff member to ensure that they are able to stay up to date on administrative deadlines, complete the Standards of Excellence, conduct our Commitment to a Hazing-Free Fraternity and Sorority Life Experience conversation and receive additional leadership development outside of their organization.

Roles of Chapter Coaches

• Support and advise assigned chapters through the Standards of Excellence and day-to-day operations.

• Maintain relationships and contact with the chapter president and other members of that organization as needed.

• Conduct meetings with the chapter president once a month throughout the semester.

• Collaborate with the council advisor, inter/national headquarters, advisors, regional volunteers and other university departments to best support the chapter.

• Provide knowledge, assistance, and resources available on/off campus to help the chapter succeed.
