Chandler Crean (he/him) serves as the Assistant Director for Fraternity and Sorority Life. In this role, he provides leadership for the office’s assessment and communications initiatives, including overseeing the Standards of Excellence Chapter Certification Program, developing and sharing chapter scorecards/memos, and maintaining the FSL website and social media accounts.

Chandler serves as the primary advisor to the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and supports Virginia Tech’s culturally and affinity-based fraternities and sororities. He also serves as a chapter coach, supervises the Coordinator who advises the United Council of Fraternities and Sororities (UCFS), and provides guidance and professional development to student interns.

He received his B.S.B.A. in Management from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and his Masters of Education in College Student Affairs Administration from the University of Georgia. He is a proud member of Pi Kappa Phi and actively volunteers with UNC Charlotte, NASPA, Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values (AFLV), Pi Kappa Phi, and the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors (AFA). Outside of work, Chandler enjoys traveling, cooking, and playing pickleball.
