Michael A. Keane
Michael Keane serves as the assistant director of Fraternity and Sorority Life. In this role, he is responsible for leadership development and integrating strengths based education into the fraternity and sorority community. Keane also serves as the advisor for the National PanHellenic Council and the Panhellenic Council.
Prior to working at Virginia Tech, Keane served as the coordinator of Fraternity and Sorority Life at Bowling Green State University. Previously, he served as a graduate assistant for Fraternity and Sorority Life at Clemson University.
Keane attended Clemson University to pursue a master’s degree in counselor education with an emphasis in student affairs and a bachelor’s degree in history from Furman University. He provides volunteer support to national organizations and holds professional memberships in the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors (AFA), the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA), and Beta Theta Pi fraternity.
